It all started with a problem we lived first-hand.
Before OneTrip, we faced the same problem as many customers: it was hard to simply buy from our favourite independent merchants.
The products were there. The merchants were there. The demand was there. But the infrastructure to order easily online did not exist yet.
Our story
- 2019
It all starts with Epipresto
In 2019 we launched Epipresto, a marketplace dedicated to independent and specialty grocery stores.
During the pandemic, the platform allowed dozens of shops to keep selling, delivering and serving their customers while their traditional model was upended.
On the ground, we digitized thousands of products, built catalogues, coordinated orders and carried out thousands of deliveries.

The Epipresto lesson becomes OneTrip
Epipresto taught us that the problem was bigger than a website or a marketplace.
Independent merchants did not just need a "buy" button. They needed a complete infrastructure: catalogue, payments, delivery, marketing, data, automation and business intelligence.
That conviction gave birth to OneTrip.

Our infrastructure combines e-commerce, automation, AI applied to operations, delivery, marketing and business intelligence.
The goal is simple: help local merchants make better decisions, serve their customers more efficiently and stay competitive in an increasingly technological market.

What is agentic e-commerce?
By agentic e-commerce, we mean an online store that does more than display products and take orders.
It helps the merchant operate: digitize the catalogue, generate and improve content, automate part of the marketing, organize delivery, understand sales, follow customers and make better decisions through business intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is not used as a gimmick. It is applied to concrete problems: getting products online faster, reducing manual work, improving product pages, spotting sales opportunities and helping the store act faster.
The founders
OneTrip was founded by two engineers trained at Polytechnique Montréal, with experience in operations, artificial intelligence and local commerce.
After several years in the field with Epipresto, they are now building a technology infrastructure designed around the realities of independent merchants.
